Delicious Healthy Halloween Treats For Kids

It’s Halloween season and it’s always fun creating cool treats for the kids to enjoy. It’s even better for you, mom when you can feel good about what you’re putting into your child’s body. If you’re like me then you are all about eating healthy but you take a bit of a realistic approach to it. These cookie treats are vegan, non-GMO, and gluten-free except for the decorations on top. It’s not perfect but it’s much better in my opinion than having the entire treat be unhealthy and processed.

Sweet Lorens is cookie dough you can find in your local grocery store or Amazon (of course). They are easy to make and tasty. In case you were wondering yes, it is possible to have a delicious vegan cookie without some diary inside of it. You’re Welcome.

These are the sugar cookie option available from Sweet Lorens. We decorated them with orange icing on top with sprinkles and eyes for a finishing touch. These particular cookies we like to call … Mumpkins – like a hybrid of Monsters and pumpkins. Super Fun and easy to make! Just a tip if you want to make the eyeballs look more natural put the eyes on before you put the cookies in the oven. The eyes melt down in a cool way that looks very real and spooooky! I suggest placing the sprinkles on at the same time as well.

These cookies are our mummy brownie cookies. These are the Chocolate brownie cookies by Sweet Lorens. The cookies are shaped like balls when you take them out of the pack. To get them flat like this we mashed them down with the palm of our hand.

Monster balls. Enough said. This is the easiest way to create super fun Halloween Cookies. We just added the eyeballs and sprinkles and voila!  A tasty Monster Ball Brown Cookie. Put these on the side of a bowl of  Vanilla Icecream and have a good ‘ole mummy… I mean yummy time.
